AOFI was established by the Law on the Export Credit and Insurance Agency of the Republic of Serbia, j.s.c., adopted by the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia during July 2005.
The mission of national export support at its current developmental phase of, AOFI achieves through different insurance and export financing mechanisms:
- short-term financing
- export-credit insurance
- factoring
- foreign buyer financing
- refinancing of a foreign buyer via its commercial bank
- financing from other sources then AOFI credit capital
